Squaw Butte Trail & Project Safety
Rides and project are open ONLY to active BCHI members.
Member and stock safety takes priority in everything the chapter does.
First aid kits and emergency contact devices will be carried on all projects & rides.
Carry a personal medical info form in your saddle bags.
Carry any special medications in your saddle bags.
Dogs are welcome in camp, but not on the trail.
Stock must be under control at all times.
If you horse or mules kicks, ribbon on their tail.
A pre-event safety meeting will be held.
Members must be USFS Sawyer certified to use saws on chapter projects.
Required safety gear will be worn when running saws.
No alcoholic beverage until after the work is done.
